The Haldiram Group believes in self-empowerment at every level. For this, they have contributed to the field of education, focusing on making it accessible to everyone, irrespective of caste, creed or economic background. This open-minded approach has encouraged many young children to seek education under projects funded and run by the education society. At large, these efforts are currently supporting schools in Bikaner, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Noida.

Committed to supporting the environment, Haldiram Charitable Society continues to invest in the environmentally sustainable efforts by supporting government led projects along with erecting green pastures in its CSR led projects and also by supporting forestation drives regularly.  

There are many eager learners in society. But many give up education due to lack of funds or other circumstantial challenges. The Haldiram Educational Society has consciously invested its resources to support such eager learners and help them become self-sufficient.

Supporting the establishment of good infrastructure in their birthing grounds, Bikaner, Haldiram’s Group of Companies have regularly contributed in the establishment of hospitals and medical facilities. Through support from the Haldiram Charitable Society, the small quaint city of Bikaner received its first government run state-of-the-art Haldiram Moolchand cancer hospital complete with gamma rays machines. The hospital provides free treatment and has a special train running that ferries patients from Bhatinda for treatment to the hospital on a daily basis. Haldiram Moolchand Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences supports education and research along with state-of-the-art medical facilities for heart treatment. A government run hospital, its general upkeep, salaries of support staff, environmental sustainable practises.

Akshay Patra Foundation, under the aegis of Iskon Bangalore Society has been taking care of nourishing the bodies and minds of children. The Haldiram Education Foundation has heartily supported this endeavour by funding the provision of mid-day meals to children across India.  

Till date, the foundation has served over 2.35 million children studying in 25,768 government schools and Anganwadi centres across 78 locations in 16 states and 3 union territories of India.

As an FMCG company, the Haldiram Group believes that food is the heart of love and humanity. No child should go hungry and have to fend for itself. This is a basic need and right of every child and therefore must take precedence. The funding has supported children studying in Vrindavan and who are keen to receive religious education too.
