Mahatma Gandhi Government School (Murlidhar Vyas Nagar, Bikaner)
Due to its excellent infrastructure and educational framework, this first official English medium school of Bikaner is today a star performer and a preferred choice of many parents for their girl's education.
Located at the district headquarters, this school was established under the Rajasthan State Government's ambitious scheme to make education through English medium accessible to all students free of cost. It is currently doing the work of advancing students through English-medium teaching.
More than 800 students study in the school. So that quality education with all modern facilities can be conducted for them in an unobstructed manner, the Haldiram Educational Society is providing support to the school under the Vidyalaya Adoption Scheme of the Education Department.
Under this support, for all children, smart interactive boards and comfortable furniture have been provided, and improvements made to basic facilities; the Haldiram Educational Society firmly resolved that, through English-medium education reaching every section of society, they can contribute to the nation's development.
