               Caring for the Old

Keeping with the spirit to giving back to the society, the Haldiram Charitable Society provides free of cost food support to old age homes in Delhi

Caring for the old is any society’s responsibility. In Indian culture, caring for our elders and their wellbeing is next to reverence of Gods. For those residing in old age homes, the Haldiram Charitable Society shows its support by taking responsibility for their nutritional needs. As its contribution, it provides tasty and nutritious food to the residents on a daily basis.

Old age homes receiving support include Ashirwad Niketan, Sandhya and Aaradhna Old Age Home. Under the patronage of the New Delhi Palika Parishad Samaj Kalyan Samiti, the Haldiram Charitable Society provides a fully equipped kitchen along with trained cooks and staff that cook fresh food for the residents. Food is regularly reviewed and provided keeping in mind the nutritional needs of the old residents. Since 2024, the society has committed to provide all the support that is needed to ensure food is never a worry for any resident of these old age homes.
