Maharani Central Girls Senior Secondary School (Bikaner)
This senior secondary English medium school is the only one of its kind for girls in Bikaner. It is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and supports educational needs of girls eager to study and coming from marginal parts of society.
Under the patronage of Maharaja Ganga Singh, the school was established as the first girl's educational institution in the 1930s. Named under wife, Maharani Bhatiyani Ujj Madhyamic Vidhyalaya since then has been supporting education of the girl child. In September 2021, the Haldiram Educational Society adopted the school and took on the task of funding its educational and infrastructural needs.
The strength of 2000 plus students today enjoy access to smartboards, clean toilets, drinking water, basketball and volleyball courts, state-of-the-art educational labs and durable furniture.
In 2023, a national level basketball tournament was held for the first time in the history of the school. This was made possible because Haldiram Educational Society repurposed the old and established a state-of-the-art basketball court made of synthetic durable material. The event saw participation from 104 teams across Rajasthan. was a roaring success, bringing in girls from across Rajasthan to compete and enjoy the spirit of sportsmanship.
Today, the school is a preferred spot for various competitive entrance examinations only due to its state-of-the-art classroom setup, which is the only one of its kind in government run schools in Bikaner.
