Beauty and Wellness

Beauty and Wellness is no more an elite exclusivity. With exposure to internet and social media accessibility making this a preferred choice for girls and young women in Tier II and III cities, Haldiram Skill Academy is empowering eager learners to explore this lucrative employment option.

Gone are days when beauty and wellness was only accessible to those who were well educated or loaded with cash. Nowadays, brands are bringing out a range of cosmetics that are catering to the beauty needs of girls and women in Tier II and III cities as well. General awareness about maintaining a regular beauty regime, needs of daily makeup to look your confidence self at work are just some reasons why young women from smaller cities and marginal parts of society are investing in beauty as a career option.

Some are single earning members of their family and seek to support their family by learning basic makeup and salon management skills at the Haldiram Skill Academy (HSA). A three-month course makes them confident to do their own makeup, leave alone well equipped to run their own freelance business or even set up a salon.

“Training at a nominal rate also equips them with the known how on how to invest in basic tools, makeup materials and salon equipment. We start from basics about skin, skin health, tones, colour palette going into helping them develop their own skin packs. They also learn about hairdos, bridal makeovers, salon management apart from facial techniques,” shared the teaching faculty at HSA.
